    Mango fruit is considered one of the choicest fruits in the world. Grown in tropical
    regions, these fruit have an attractive color, good flavor and are very nutritious.
    This chapter reviews the ripening, storage and transport of these fruit after
    harvest. It also covers fruit composition (nutritional, color and flavor compounds)
    and the problems involved in storing and transporting these fruit to market areas.

    Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV), the type member of the cucumovirus group,
    was first reported in 1916 as the causal agent of a disease of cucumber and
    muskmelon in Michigan and cucumber in New York.
