SUBJECT DESCRIPTION:
Grade 10 Computer focuses on understanding the use and implications of connecting to internet; the studies on the relationship of WWW and Internet; the
basic creation of a Web site design using HTML as a hyper markup language; and the function of Adobe PhotoShop as an image editor application.

SUBJECT THRUST:
The LSM learners are committed to make every Salettinian appreciate, evaluate, and utilize technological knowledge, resources, and processes to enable
them to participate in the ever-expanding technology-based society.

FIRST QUARTER

CONTENT STANDARD:
 The learners demonstrate understanding of the basic concepts and underlying theories in Internet Netiquette and intellectual property rights in using
computer and internet; understanding of the web security threats such spamming, flaming, phishing and cyber bullying; understanding on the basic
principles, history and steps on connecting internet.
PERFORMANCE STANDARD:
 The learners independently construct a concept map that shows the different requirements in using internet; independently apply the different steps on
handling web security threats; independently demonstrate the steps in connecting internet.

ENDURING UNDERSTANDING:
 Studying internet is very important to internet users because having knowledge about it will lead you to a good experience.
 Being aware on the different internet threats can prevent us from harmful effects of using internet especially for the communication of the people in
cyberspace.

PERFORMANCE TASK:
Title: Netiquette Vlog
Goal- Educate the students to be knowledgeable on handling internet properly and safety.
