DRRR - PETA 3:
Hazards Informative Ad Video

TASK PROMPT AND OUTPUT:

The collaboration project of NDRRMC and UST (NDRRMC Volunteer Researchers from UST) had successfully
drafted a Community Disaster Preparedness Plan for disaster prone areas. The project is now on its 2nd phase which is to
use this model for information dissemination within these areas. Volunteer staff and students from the EDTECH
Department of UST will be joining the group. They will help in making a video about the hazard assigned to your group.
This will serve as an ad and campaign material for information dissemination. Volunteer staff and students from the UST
Conservatory of Music will also be joining the group. They will help in making a jingle which will be included in your video.
The goal of this collaboration is to produce a Video Info-Ad on Hazards (Depending on the Hazard Assigned to you group).
The video must have the following information: a.) Basic information about the hazard and b.) What to do before, during
and after the hazard.
The output will be evaluated by NDRRMC officials, DRRM researchers and content specialists based on the
following standards: a.) Concept, b.) Content, c.) Organization, d.) Character Development, e.) Creativity and Originality,
f.) Cooperation and g.) Submission.

GUIDELINES AND RESOURCES:

1.) As a collaborative work with The EDTECH Department of UST, your team is tasked to produce a THREE-FOUR (3-4)
MINUTES Info-Ad Video about the Hazard assigned to your group. The team must be composed of 6-7 NDRRMC
volunteer researchers (from the class) each with equal contribution at the end.
2.) Come-up with an attractive, eye-catching and unique TITLE for your video. It must catch the interest of people and
make them eager to watch it.
3.) Things to be INCLUDED in the Video:
• A short “Jingle” with original lyrics. Background music from existing jingles or songs may be used but original
compositions will be given more credits.
• Basic information about the Hazard assigned to your group.
• Measures/Interventions to be performed before, during and after the Hazard.
• Credits at the end of the video. Not included in the time required.
• Section and Group Number
4.) Things to be submitted on November 4, 2019:
• Info-Ad Video (to be presented also on the day of submission)
• Rubrics for Info-Ad Video
• Peer Evaluation Rubric (all members of the group should submit)
• Member Contribution Table
5.) USE LONG BOND PAPER in printing the rubrics and contribution table.
6.) ALL MEMBERS OF THE GROUP SHOULD BE IN THE VIDEO.
7.) GRADING PERCENTAGE:
• 70% - Info-Ad Video Rubric
• 30% - Peer Evaluation
