 How will you write the letter M, S, A , E , I , O, T, Y ? (Allow the children
to write it in the air or let a child write it on the chalkboars).
B. Motivation
Let the children sing the Phonics Song by Barbara Milne and the local
version of Phonics Song.

C. Discussion of concepts
C.1 Meeting Time 1: Pagbasa ng Mensahe

Showing pictures of different objects or animals that begins with the M, S, A ,


E , I , O, T, Y sound.
Demonstrate how to write and let them hear the sound M, S, A , E , I , O, T, Y.
Show a video that discuss the “M, S, A , E , I , O, T, Y” sound.

C.2 Work Period 1: The “M, S, A , E , I , O, T, Y” Sound


Showing pictures of different objects or animals that shows “M, S, A , E , I , O,
T, Y” sound.
Allow them to draw some objects, things or animals that shows “M, S, A , E , I ,
O, T, Y” sound

C.3 Meeting Time 2: Talk about the activities done during the day

C.4 Teacher-Supervised Recess:


The teacher commends the learners for the work they did in Work Period Time 1
and tells them to prepare for recess time/health break by sanitizing their hands.
