Task1A: A noun is a word that names a person, place, animal or a thing. Read the given words
and sort them into the correct box.
Task 1B – Read the passage given below. Underline five nouns form the passage and make
sentences with them.

Sammy, Me and the Stars

Sammy and I went to the park at night. We wanted to look at all the pretty stars. Sammy took
his bike and parked it under the tree. The park is next to my dad’s bakery. We can see dad selling
bread. He waves at us from afar. I took out the sweet tarts which mom packed for us. We sat
there looking at the pretty stars and thought about how beautifulthey were. They looked like art
in the sky.
