There were 36 attendees out of 45 parents (80%) were reflected in the attendance sheet.

Proceedings

 The meeting started with a short prayer at exactly 10:30 in the morning.
 Sir Ricky C. Balingit, Principal III of Basa Air Base National High School, visited the
classroom and oriented parents regarding the importance of literacy.
 Agendas were discussed thoroughly by the class adviser.
 Parent’s questions were addressed about school matters.
 Certificate of Recognition were given to the honor students.
 Ma’am Mariel Lyka T. De Luna distributed the temporary report card.
 Before they go home, parents agreed to have a close coordination between them
and the adviser.
 The meeting adjourned at 11:30 in the morning.

NARRATIVE REPORT
S.Y. 2022- 2023
Basa Air Base National High School conducted its Classroom-based Recognition and
Homeroom PTA Meeting for 2nd Quarter last March 3, 2023.
Ma’am Mariel Lyka T. De Luna, class adviser of Grade 10-Angel Joel, started the
activity at exactly 10:30 in the morning. 36 out of 45 parents/guardians (80%) attended the
meeting. The first part of the program was a short prayer headed by Ms. Julyanna Madelaine
A. Dela Torre, honor student of Section Joel.
Next, Sir Ricky C. Balingit, Principal III of Basa Air Base National High School visited
the classroom and introduced himself as the new school head. Furthermore, he oriented the
parents about the significance of literacy.
Then, the agendas were discussed by the class adviser. Among the important
matters that were given emphasis were as follows: a) students’ attendance, tardiness and
absenteeism, b) discipline (decorum/proper attire), c) computation of grades per subject
area, and d) close coordination between parents and class advisers. Some parents raised
their questions and Ma’am Mariel Lyka T. De Luna properly addressed each one of them.
After that, certificates of recognition were awarded to the students together with their
parents. 20 out of 45 students got honors (18 of them were with honors and 2 were with high
honors). Lastly, the class adviser distributed the temporary cards to the parents and had one
by one brief discussion about the learner’s status. Moreover, parents agreed to monitor and
supervise their children through constant follow-up and coordination with class adviser in
order to maintain or improve learners’ academic performance.
Finally, the activity ended at exactly 11:30 with the same number of
parents/guardians in the attendance sheet.
