Background The Department of Education (DepEd) has directed the "strict implementation" of its
and executive order protecting the community from gender-based violence and

country. A free expression of themselves both the teachers and students. LGBTQIA+
is an abbreviation for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning,
intersex, asexual, and more. These terms are used to describe a person’s sexual
orientation or gender identity.

The principal concern of the non-teaching is to form a more conscientious group on

the rights and responsibilities as well as the limitation of any members of the
LGBTQ+. It is acquiring knowledge through our concern to line up several activities
like interaction, collaboration, and even physical and mental games. It deepens our
understanding of ourselves and others etc.

These activities envision to motivate the non-teaching personnel to become more

responsible civil servants and future leaders of society, especially in Mandaluyong
City.

OBJECTIVE This program aims to:

1. Effective collaboration working across with the LGBTQ.
2. Widen the perspective on their responsibility through sharing of knowledge
and experiences on the matter.
3. Adopt positive and healthy mental prospective.
4. Grow as one and united in building our school towards one nation.

An opportunity for the non-teaching personnel to have a seminar on the
important role of the school guards and utilities on how to deal with the
LGBTQ school clientele.

An opportunity to revisit the Citizen charter services and an occasion to build

camaraderie among non-teaching in charge in elementary and high school department.
