PRE-LESSON (5 mins) 2. Teacher asks students to introduce themselves

LESSON DEVELOPMENT : ACTIVITY 1 : Group (30 minutes)

1. Teacher asks students to guess on the topic of the day which they are
going to learn, with the help of the clues.

2. Teacher shows the picture of the recycling and briefly explains it to the
students.

3. Teacher write about the activity on the board for the students

4. Teacher divide the students into 9 groups

Instruction and feedback 5. As a group work, students needs to come up with some points for :

a. Why is recycling important ?

b. What happens if there's no recycling

6. Each group needs to read out their points at the end.

ACTIVITY 2 : Individual ( 20 mins )

1. Teacher hands off the worksheet about the recycling passage

2. Students need to go through the worksheet

3. Students would get called randomly to explain what they understood


from the passage

4. Students need to answer the worksheet

POST LESSON : 1. To wrap up the lesson, the teacher asks students to give some examples
of the items that can be recycled in order to observe the understanding
(5 mins) of the pupils based on the day's lesson.
