Topic: Nida’s Communication Model

KEY POINTS DESCRIPTION

Eugene Nida's Nida’s model of communication emphasizes

Communication feedback and noise
Model

Nida’s Source and receptors both have an encoder (for

Communication sending a message) and a decoder (for
Model Flow understanding the message)

This is because they easily shift roles: sender

becomes receptor and vice versa

The message is either acoustic or printed

Throughout the process, there is always a factor

of noise anything that interferes with it.

To aid the communication process, the receptor

produces feedback.

SUMMARY
Eugene Nida's communication model emphasizes only feedback and noise
and the shifting of the source and receptors because both of them have
an encoder and decoder because they can easily shift roles. The message
in Nida’s model is either acoustic or printed also throughout the process
of communication there is a big factor that the noise may interfere, also to
aid the communication process the receptor produces feedback.
