concepts and practicing What is an inscribed angle?
new skill #1
An inscribed angle is an angle
whose vertex is on the circle
and whose sides contain chords
of the circle. The arc that lies
in the interior of an inscribed
angle and has endpoints on the
angle is called the intercepted
arc of the angle.

Example:

concepts and practicing
new skill #2 Theorem 1. If an angle is inscribed in a circle, then
the measure of the angle is equal to 𝑜𝑛𝑒-ℎ𝑎𝑙𝑓 the
measure of its intercepted arc.

 In the figure, ∠𝐴𝐶𝑇 is an inscribed angle and

^
AT is its intercepted arc.
 If the measure of 𝐴𝑇̂ is equal to 120⁰, then
the measure of ∠𝐴𝐶𝑇 is equal to 60⁰.
