Connecting words:
- También - also

Format of exam:
1. Role-plays
- Candidate chooses one set of Role-plays, face down, from one context
- Candidate prepare answers on Role-play response sheet for 10 minutes
- Teacher states roleplay 1
- Teacher and candidate carry out role- play 1
- Teacher states roleplay 2
- Teacher and candidate carry out role-play 2
2. Conversations
- Teacher states conversation topic 1 – pre-released
- Teacher and candidate conduct conversation 1
- Teacher states conversation 2
- Teacher and candidate conduct conversation 2
- Teacher states ‘This is the end of the speaking examination’
Conversation 1:
- One prepared conversation of up to 4 minutes
- Candidate uses preparation sheet with 40 words (may contain words, phrases or
sentences of up 6 words long)
- NO question to be asked by the candidate
- Candidate returns the preparation sheet to teacher after conversation 1
Conversation 2:
- Conversation is based on one bullet point from the remaining context.
- Conversation lasts up to 4 minutes
- NO question to be asked by the candidate
- No notes/materials allowed
