Summary
• After 2017 brand renovation, hohes C is still a 3,8% value MS juice brand (Source: Nielsen, FY 2019, total HU FJND
market) with a -10bps decline vs LY due to significantly growing competitors (Happy Day, Rauch Juice Bar, Sió Light).
Sió-Eckes has the strategic goal to grow hohes C to a brand of min. 5% value MS by 2022.
• To aim this goal, hohes C brand fundamentals were updated in 2019: inspirational personas created, consumer insight
fine-tuned, brand purpose defined.
• hohes C communication also needs to be renewed: fine-tuned targeting & more relevant content to TG in an updated
tone of voice. New brand concept “Kis lépés neked, nagy lépés az egészségednek” to gain new consumers is started to
be communicated as of May 2020.
• Changes in brand & portfolio will get communicational support in TVC, digital, PR and in-store in 2020.
• As a further implication of updated brand fundamentals, hohes C portfolio is also updated: packaging design change is
in progress, new pack design on shelves by Q4 2020. Innovations are also in line with extended target group’s needs in
the pipeline accordingly.
