for occasion, pronouns and structures of modification.
Performance Standard: The learner skillfully delivers a speech for a special occasion through utilizing effective

TASK 1:
1. Divide the class into two teams (first team is composed of boys COT-Indicator 6

line up on opposite sides of the room.

3. Divide the class into five groups.
4. Distribute two sets of definitions to each group.
5. Have each group decide which of the two definitions is COT-Indicator 4

6. Once they have come up with a final decision, let them post their
answers under the appropriate column on the board.
