I. OBJECTIVES:

At the end of forty-five minute period, the students are expected to;
a. identify the three phases of matter;
b. describe the characteristics of the three phases of matter; and
c. apply the knowledge about phases of matter in their group activity.

III. PROCEDURE

                                                               
A. Preliminary Activities
        TEACHER’S ACTIVITY

1. Prayer
The teacher will choose one student to lead the
prayer.

2. Greetings Good afternoon, class!

3. Classroom The teacher will give instructions to pick some


management pieces of paper under the chair and to arrange the

class in to three group. Then the teacher will assign
the group to create or to draw a model of three
phases of matter and explain.

After the presentation, the teacher will reinforce the


students.

examples of the three phases of matter and the
students will identify if the picture presented is
belong to solid, liquid or gas.
