A place was earlier reserved for you in NTU to read Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
According to our records, you will be completing/disrupting national service by end July/August 2021 in time to enrol for the programme in the
academic year 2021-22. The Orientation will commence on 24 July 2021 (tentative) and Teaching week will start on 11 August 2021. We would
like you to confirm your enrolment decision as well as to reiterate our health screening requirement.
NSmen who have completed their full-time National Service by 10 May 2021 may matriculate earlier, if they wish, during the University’s special
term. Information such as dates of special terms, list of courses offered and course fee is available at http://www.ntu.edu.sg/
Students/Undergraduate/AcademicServices/Pages/RNS-Special-Term.aspx.
Please indicate one of the following options as your enrolment decision by 15 January 2021 at the RNSmen Portal. The link is also available at
http://admissions.ntu.edu.sg/UndergraduateAdmissions.
1. I will enrol in the programme reserved in the Special Term(s) commencing in May/June 2021. (You will receive more information in March 2021.)
2. I will enrol in the programme reserved in August 2021. (You will receive more information in June 2021).
If you are unable to enrol in academic year 2021-22, please complete the Form for Returning National Servicemen and return it to the Office of
Admissions by Friday, 22 January 2021. The form must be stamped and certified by your Commanding or Admin Officer if your reason is due to
National Service.
If you wish to submit a fresh application in academic year 2021-22, you are encouraged to accept the reserved programme first, to secure a place in
the university while waiting for the outcome of your new application. You will be given the option to choose between the new offer and the reserved

programme if you are successful in your new application. If you intend to re-apply for a new programme, you are encouraged to enrol in August
2021 instead of the Special Term.
2. Health Screening
All students must undergo a health screening and certified fit for studies prior to admission into the University. Health screening is conducted at the
campus clinic “Fullerton Healthcare @ NTU”. The health screening includes Urine Tests and Chest X-ray. The fee is S$35 (GST inclusive). For
students pursuing the double degree programme in Biomedical Sciences and Chinese Medicine, the basic health screening which also includes the
cost of the compulsory Hepatitis B screening blood test is S$55 (GST inclusive). For students pursuing the LKCMedicine MBBS programme, the fee is
S$90 (GST inclusive) which includes the fee for the compulsory Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and HIV screening blood tests. During this period of the
health screening, X-ray is available on site.
We will be scheduling returning national servicemen who are enrolling for the programme reserved in academic year 2021-22 to have their health
screening done earlier to avoid overcrowding. Details such as dates of health screening and booking procedures will be communicated via email in
March/April 2021. If you are not enrolling in academic year 2021-22, health screening is not required then.
Please ensure that your email address and contact numbers are valid. If there is any change, please update the information when you confirm your
enrolment decision online.
