Good morning, everyone, kindly stand
up and let us pray. Good morning, ma’am.

Dear Lord, we come to you in the spirit

of learning, humility and love. We are
grateful for this opportunity to learn
from each other and grow closer in our
faith. We ask that you bless our time
together as we explore the teachings of
Jesus Christ.

class, regarding to the video that what

we watch what do you think our lesson
for today? Its all about shape ma’am.
Very good class, our topic for today is
all about the five basic shapes.

Who among you want to come Infront Square

and trace a square? Yes Decemar?
B. Establishing a purpose for
the lesson Very good Decemar
How about circle who among you want Circle.
to trace. Yes lyca.

D. Discussing new concepts.
and practicing new skills #1 Now let’s come up to our new
discussion. So, what is shape?
A shape can be defined as the form of
an object or its outline, outer boundary
or outer space.

Everything we can see in the world

around us has a shape. We can find
different basic shapes such as the two-
dimensional square, rectangle, and oval
or three- dimensional rectangular
prism, cylinder and sphere in the
objects we see around us. These
geographic shapes appear in objects we
can see as credit cards, bills and coins,
finger rings, photo frames, dart boards,
huts, buildings, flowerpots, toy trains,
and balloons.
circle, square, rectangle, oval,
So, what are the 5 basic shapes? We
and triangle.
have circle, square, rectangle, oval, and
triangle.

Now, let’s talk about a circle first.

So, the circle class has a round shape, it

is two-dimensional shape. All points on
the edge of the circle are the same
distance from the center. A few things
around us that are circular in shape are
an apple, ball, barriers, orange and
flowers.

Second is square this one is closed and

a two-dimensional shape with 4 equal
slides. A square is quadrilateral. We
can find the shape of a square in a
window, gift in a box square strawberry
cake Minecraft grass block, and clock.

Next is shape is rectangle. This one is

a two- dimensional shape in geometry,
having 4 sides and 4 corners. Are two
sides meet at right angles, each
measuring 90. Rectangle being the most
common shape forms a part of our day-
to-day life. Some real-life examples of
the shape rectangle are door,
blackboard, calculator, painting,
window, notebook, and baking menu
poster.

Next is Oval. A shape rather like an

egg or an ellipse, which may be two
dimensional or three dimensional.
Some real-life oblong examples are
papaya, pine apple, watermelon, mirror,
emerald and egg.
The last shape is Triangle. A triangle
has tree sides, three vertices, and three
angles of a triangle is always 180. We
can find the shape of a triangle
strawberry cake, and watermelon ice
cream.

E. Discussing new concepts

and practicing new skills #2 I will group you in to three and I will
show you a picture then identify if what
shape what you see base on what we
discuss while ago.
Instruction; I’ll give you a paper to
write your answer then if you done
raise your answer then if who are the

F. Developing mastery (Leads
to formative assessment) Now for you to understand more our
lesson for today just read and answer
the following: Matching type
Okey class, since you’ve already
understood our lesson. I will give you
an activity which is a group activity. I
will group you into 5 all groups
alphabetically arranged. All you have to
do is to create a drawing with the use of
shapes. Its up to you if you will draw
G. Finding practical/ certain lowers and fruits, houses or
application of concepts and something that you see around us. After
skills in daily living that you will present your output in the
class and tell the importance of shapes Yes ma’am.
in your drawing are we clear?

You are given five minutes to draw and

another five minutes to present. Do
your activity now.
H. Making generalizations
and abstractions about the Since we are done with our discussion
lesson earlier class, did you all understand the
topic that we tackled? Yes ma’am

Let start with this question.

What is all about shape?
Yes divine. Ma’am

A flat object with no open sides

lines that touches each other on
both ends.

Very good.
Another one what are tha basic shapes
we discussed earlier? Yes lea? A circle, square, rectangle,
oval and triangle.
Excellent lea.

Now any one who want to describe the

circle shapes? Yes liza? A circle is a round, two-
dimensional shape, all points on
the edge of the circle area at the
same distance from the center.
Nex describe the shape square A two-dimensional shape in
geometry having four sides and
four corners.

Verry good.

What about triangle? A triangle is having three sides,

three vertices, and three angles.

Excellent.
And the last one describes the shape An oval is a shape rather like an
oval? egg or an ellipse, which may be
two- dimensional or three-
dimensional object.

Well done I hope you understand our

lesson for today.
Directions: bring out a sheet of paper
and pencil and draw the following.

I. Evaluating Learning 1. Circle

2. Triangle
3. Square
4. Oval
5. rectangle

J. Additional activities for Draw a circle, rectangle, oval, and

application or triangle, and color it using the primary
remediation colors.
