Mr / Mrs teacher along with colleagues who I respect, first of all let us praise and thank God for the
Almighty God who has given mercy and guidance to all of us so that we can gather in this place, I say
many thanks for the opportunity given to me to deliver a speech entitled "Indonesia Needs Moral
Education".

My colleagues, all of whom I love

Moral education is needed by students of this generation. Not only students but needed by the world
community, especially Indonesia. Now in the education institution both at the university and at school,
it seems like moral education is being overshadowed, and in fact there are even those who put it in
garbage bins. What is the point of educating the intellect without educating morals? Do the instructors
now want to make this nation an intellect, if the problem is clever intellect of animals if taught also can.
Do teachers now want to make our nation a liberal nation? Forming individual human beings who sit on
the faces of social humans, occupying the faces of their predecessors?

If someone asks me, "What do you think is important, moral or intellect?" I will obviously choose
morals. But there's nothing wrong with choosing both. Not long ago it spread the pornographic videos
of the artist Ariel-Luna. Why is there a video like this? If not because of the loss of national morale.
Actually, even though millions and trillions of pornographic videos have spread in the country, it will
have no effect if they have morals. Even though they, the porn viodeo maker knows the rules that apply
in the country, knowing that his actions violate laws, norms and religion, but there is no meaning if
someone knows the rules but does not know the rules. The difference is to know the rules by knowing
that the rules are like the sky in a row. If moral education in this country is applied like the application
of intellectual education, maybe Indonesia can be independent, "truly free!" So that students, especially
the younger generation can get moral education, teaching staff who have good morals and intellect are
needed. Unlike a high school teacher who recently made a transaction, bought his student virginity
which was traded by his own students.

The younger generation should also work hard, because someday they will become the supporting
pillars of the red and white Indonesian saka, replacing the already fragile pole. In terms of supporting
the saka, knowledge is needed so that the saka can be placed in a proper place. While morals are
needed so that as a support pole is not easily fragile. Not to mention millions now, even billions of
termite eggs have hatched. So it is difficult to maintain the robustness of the support poles. But still
develop your morale! Increase your knowledge! Upbeat! Patriotic spirit! Nationalist spirit! The spirit
of the young generation! Moral spirit! The spirit of the bearer generation changes!

For those of you who are moral pocketers, use your morals before they rot. For those of you who put
morale in the trash bin, then find it, then clean it and use your morale! And for those of you who have
lost morale, then we will help to find it!
