Creating a Folder with Administrator Access Control


Trigger:

Concept

Using the Administrator Access Control feature, enterprises can determine who can view and
work with a specific category and content. You can control administrators' access to OLM data.
You can define administrator control at the catalog category level or content folder level. 

In this topic, you will create a folder with Administrative Access Control and restrict access to the
folder based on an administrative group.

Procedure

Step Action
1. Begin by navigating to the Content page.

Click the vertical scrollbar.


2. Click the US Learning Management Administrator link.

3. Click the Setup Administration link.

4. Use the Learning Management Home page to access the Content page.

6. Use the Content page to create, update or delete folders.

7. You must first select a parent object.

Click the Vision Corporation Online Content option.

10. Click the Go button.

11. Use the Create Folder page to create a new folder.

Step Action
12. Click in the Name field.

13. Enter the desired information into the Name field. Enter "UPK Training".
14. Click in the Administrator Group field.

15. Click the Search for Administrator Group button.

16. Use the Search and Select: Administrator Group page to search and select the
administrative group. Only this group will have access to the folder that you are
creating.

17. Click the Go button.

18. Click the UPK Administrator Group option.

19. Click the Select button.

21. You have successfully created a folder with Administrative Access Control.
