IMMERSE Discuss the diffirent adverbs.


1. Adverbs of Intensity - modify adjectives or other
adverbs. They express the degree or intensity of adjectives,
verbs or action, or another adverb. They are usually
placed before the adjective, verb or adverb on which they
modify.
Example:
Lucy has a very good idea.
2. Adverbs of Frequency - tell us how often or how
frequently an action is done.
Example:
Sarah and Bill meet once in the park.
3. Adverbs of Manner - words that tell us how the verb is
being performed. They
describe the action and are usually found after the verb.
We form adverbs by using
an adjective + ly
Example:
The farmers waited patiently for their fortune.
4. Adverbs of Place - always talk about the location where
the action of the verb is being carried out. They are
normally placed after a sentence`s object or main verb.
Example:
Open the box and see what’s inside it.
5. Adverbs of Time - tell you when something happened or
will happen. They
express a point in time. Adverbs that tell us for how long
are also usually placed at
the end of the sentence.
