An event, Communities in Control Excursion , has been planned for Monday, 29 May 2023 to Tuesday, 30 May 2023.

Each year students from Bendigo Senior Secondary College are sponsored to attend a two day conference which explores
inspiring ideas and opinions from distinguished community leaders Students will be able to hear from authors, thought leaders,
journalists, lawyers, futurists, and leaders of thought, think tanks and community organisations. There will be some opportunities
to meet with speakers for further discussion.

Date/Time/Venue: Monday, 29 May 2023 (7:00 AM) to Tuesday, 30 May 2023 (7:00 PM), Moonee Valley Racing Club

Transport: Bus

Consent can be provided online through your school's parent portal (https://bssc-vic.compass.education), or alternatively by
returning the form below to Angie Pollock.

Students will leave BSSC at 7:00AM on Monday 29th May and return to BSSC at 7:00PM on Tuesday 30th May.

I give permission for Connor GREEN to attend this event. Where the staff member in charge is unable to contact me, or where it is
impracticable to contact me, I authorise the staff member in charge to administer such first-aid as the staff member in charge judges to be
reasonably necessary. I understand that this is an official school event and that Connor GREEN will adhere to the dress code, as outlined
above, and behave in alignment with the school's code of conduct. I agree to meet any medical expenses and/or transport costs incurred in
the event of sickness or injury. Further, I agree to meet any transport costs should my child be sent home as a result of misbehaviour or
inappropriate conduct.
