ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT ON REMEDIAL CLASS


MAPEH 7 | FIRST QUARTER
S.Y. 2022 – 2023
I. RATIONALE
Based on my assessment, there are learners who did not perform well and failed their activities and performance
task in Music 7, the lesson is Music of the Cordillera, and so the teacher cope with an Intervention Program.
Grade 7 learners must improve their mastery of the lesson not only by learning but also by doing performance
task and comprehension. To do this, they can have remedial teaching and re-assessment from the intervention
made by their teacher, which is appropriate to their level.

III. IMPLEMENTATION (narrative report)
The teacher exerted time and effort to be able to help the learners to master the lesson, to improve
comprehension skills/ performance task in Music of the Cordillera. It was monitored by the teacher to
identify if there are progress in the learners` performance and mastery of the lesson. Students were
monitored/checked the attendance and outputs. They have written activity and a group performance.

V. RESULT
(Result before and after the remediation. Give the data and interpretation)
Students gained more knowledge by attending remedial class. It was expressed that attending of remedial class had solved
the problem of not understanding in the regular classes. Besides providing them with extra knowledge they also gained
extra information related to the topic and learned more vocabularies.
They also gained high grades in their Performance Task compare to the last time, maybe because of insufficient time of
practice.

task in Health 7, the lesson is Health Concerns Related to Physical Changes, and so the teacher cope with an
Intervention Program.
Grade 7 learners must improve their mastery of the lesson not only by learning but also by doing performance
task and comprehension. To do this, they can have remedial teaching and re-assessment from the intervention
made by their teacher, which is appropriate to their level.

V. RESULT
Remedial class had helped students to get motivated as they got individual attention from the teacher. Moreover, they
shared that attending of remedial class was interesting as the teaching was done based on the pace of their learning.
Further, the teaching strategies were little different and there was no pressure on learning. Students got more opportunities
to speak and enjoyed group activities.
