The main goal K to 12 Curriculum is to develop a
whole person that ready to face different challenges in
this fast changing world. Through rigid and strict
supervision of DepED programs, the academic
performance of the learner will improve and increase
their skills and ability in handling and solving problems
in the real world situation with the help of well-trained
teachers.

School Reading Program is anchored in the DepEd’s

Hamon Bawat Bata Bumabasa Program (3Bs Initiative),
Project BIG BRO was conceptualized to capacitate
teachers and parents in teaching reading which will help
to improve the reading proficiency level of the learners
and to equip pupils with appropriate reading
skills for effective learning. PROJECT ONE anchored to
DM no 197 s 2020 PROJECT ALL NUMERATES is a
project that aims to improve the numeracy skills of all
learners Numeracy is the ability to recognize and apply
Math concepts in all.

Highlights of the activity/PPA On this session, all the activities under the reading and
numeracy program were reiterated. Each teacher shares
their updates regarding the 1st Stage of Implementation.

Teachers also suggested some activities which they do

believe were effective to help the struggling learners both
in reading and numeracy. One of the examples is the
tutorial of the SPG and English club which will be done
before class in the afternoon, 12:30 to 1:00 every day.

Another is the tutorial class every Friday which is
