Blast from
the Past
We don’t know how we let this
photo slip through the cracks,
but going through the archives,
here it is. Tonia Sundeen and her
daughter Taya were hanging out
on the final day of the Glasgow
Wrestling Camp on August 11th,
2021. Waiting to take a photo of
the camp wrestlers, we spied
this precious moment through
the window pane. Our guess
is that Taya will be wearing a
Highlanders singlet alongside
her older siblings very soon!
The Glasgow Wrestling Facility
is quite a success story. Ground
was broken in October of
2018 and the facility opened
on January 6th, 2020 with the
first day of Glasgow Wrestling
Club Practice. The Glasgow
Middle School team started
practicing there in October 2020
and our High School Team in
November 2020. Speaking of
success stories, we have to
keep plugging away on the
Valley County Community Pool
Campaign, so don’t forget, the
next fund-raiser is this Thursday,
August 31st as the “Rock Dee
House Dueling Pianos” are at
the Cottonwood Inn.
