during the Christmas Stroll on
December 2nd while the third
wheel of the business was out
fishing with Dad, LeRoy (with
not much success). Glasgow
had a goal of raising $12,000
for Special Olympics Montana,
but to date only $1,785 has
been raised. The Billings Polar
Plunge was held on December
8th and with a $38,500 goal,
it has raised $36,180, just
$1,820 short of the goal. So far
for Polar Plunges in Montana,
only Sidney has reached the
set goal. The next Polar Plunge
will be the Southwestern Polar
Plunge in Butte On Saturday,
January 20th, 2024. You can
still donate to Get Freezin’ For

Open Letter
to The GOP
This letter is addressed to the
23 cabinet level Republicans, 7
U.S. Republican Senators, 17 US
Republican Representatives and
the 8 US Republican Governors
who have been considered RINOS (Republicans In
Name Only.) I’m not going to waste column inches in
naming all of you. You know who you are and for my
67.3 listeners you can look them up by name, rank and
serial number on Wikipedia if you wish.
My opinion is that each and every one of you
RINOS should be required to read James Madison’s
Federalist Papers 10 and 14, and Alexander Hamilton’s
number 9. Written in 1787 by the way, and if you didn’t
already know that you would think these papers were
written shortly after B Obama was elected POTUS
simply because he is somewhat Blackish and women
between voting age and senility simply adored his way
of speaking. They didn’t care about the message. They
didn’t care that this was just one giant step towards
Socialism in America.
On November 22 someone wrote the following:
“complaints are everywhere heard from our most
considerate and virtuous citizens....... that our
governments are too unstable, that the public good
is disregarded in the conflicts of rival parties and that
measures are too often decided......by the superior force
of an interested and overbearing majority.”
November 22, 1787. Could just as well been written
yesterday, eh? James Madison thunk it up and published
it in Federalist Papers 10.
He followed that with his Federalist Paper number
14 in which he wrote, “We have seen the necessity of
the Union as our bulwark against foreign danger, as the
conservator of peace among ourselves, as the guardian
of our commerce and other common interests.....and as
the proper antidote for the disease of faction.”
Faction has been the main cause of our borders
being wide open since the majority party invaded the
White House. Faction is the cause of most of our major
cities becoming sanctuary cities and now are in dire
straits because the public good has been disregarded.
(See above). Those “virtuous” cities that claimed
sanctuary for all didn’t have a clue that an additional
80,000 to 100,000 homeless illegal aliens would wreak
havock with their budget, infrastructure, temporary
housing and the list goes on. Faction caused all this
because the people at whom this letter is aimed are
responsible for the dastardly and cowardly action of
factionizing their chosen party.
See, friends, the Democrat Party is strong because
faction doesn’t exist. They fight tooth and nail for what
they want and usually get it. The GOP? Whole different
story I am ashamed to say. We are too complacent....
too quiet.....too “Let John Do it.” Too Milque-toasty!
We, as a party, need to come together. Take a page from
the Democrat playbook and start to fight for what we
think is best. We Conservatives can all agree that the
Liberal, Progressive, Greenie, LGBTQRST, genderless
idiots agenda will be the absolute ruination of this great
Nation.
The 55 RINOS I have mentioned above are the
main cause of the predicament we are facing. Our
“steamed” Progressive, Liberal Senator Jon Tester has
voted with the Biden Democrat administration over
90% of the time. That’s what it will take for us good guys
to win. We need to decide if Donald Trump is the man
we should be looking at to be the next resident of the
White House. And we need to ALL get behind him and
push this thing through. Each one of you RINOS either
need to get on board with the good guys in the white
hats or switch sides and join the evil fight for Socialism
and electric snow-blowers.
I don’t relish the idea of another four years of the
Democrats trying their best to destroy Trump. I don’t
look forward to another four years of the nightly news
reporting “new developments in the impeachment trial
of Donald Trump.” I do look with great anticipation
the great things Trump could do to straighten out this
Nation and to undo all the Unconstitutionally wrong the
present mis-administration and current WH resident
has done.
We need to find a cure for this deadly disease of
faction.

Hudyma has career morning

He’s only a freshman but he’s making his presence
known inside the paint. Cade Hudyma is in his second
season as a varsity player. He was part time as an eighth-
grader but is in a starting role this year.
The 6-foot-5 Hudyma was the go-to guy Saturday
morning where he scored a career-high 34 points in
leading the Glasgow Scotties to a 68-51 win over Joliet.
The Scotties also whipped Big Timber 66-26 Friday
afternoon. Last year at the Woodden Memorial the
Scotties beat Big Timber by two points,
Hudyma was 13 of 20 from the field and 6 of 10 from
the line.
“He definitely benefited from our offense,” said
Glasgow coach Paul Yoakam. “The guys know if we work
the ball eventually Cade is going to be open. Wyatt Babb
did a good job of creating opportunities for our guys. We
built that lead back up and won it at the end.”
Big Timber fields a young team with no seniors
starting.
Myles Yoakam followed in scoring with 16 points,
including three 3-pointers. Babb added 10 points, Nic
Solorzano four, Richards three, amd Connor Hudyma
two,
Against Big Timber, the Scotties got a big jump
on the Herders. In fact, the Scotties held the Herders
scoreless in the first quarter. Glasgow led 22-0 and 27-0
before Brock Johnson scored for Big Timber at the 5:12
mark in the second period.
“We had a pretty big advantage, especially down
low,” said Yoakam, “The guys came out and attacked early
on and from the outside too. We held them down the first
two quarters defensively. It was a nice way to start out the
tournament.”
Glasgow had three players score in double digits
with Yoakam netting a game-high 17 points. The 6-foot-3
junior drained three 3-pointers. Wyatt Babb and Hudyma
followed with 14 points each, Richards had nine, Connor
Hudyma five, Wyatt Sugg four, and Andy Hanson three.
Yoakam went 6 for 10 from the field, Babb 7 for 11,
and Cade Hudyma 7 for 13. The Scotties were 29 of 55.
“We’re doing a nice job of working the offense
and taking the opportunities presented for them,” said
Yoakam.
Babb had a big game with seven assists and had six
Friday.
“He’s at 7.3 assists a game. That’s the best we have ever
had,” said Yoakam. “I think as a team we had 17 assists.
Wyatt shares the ball. He’s capable of scoring himself.”
This year there is a new rule in fouls and free throws.
There are no longer any bonus free throws. Instead
players get two charity shots and team fouls start at zero
each quarter.
“If you’re playing good clean defense there’s going to
be fewer opportunities at the line,” said Yoakam. “I really
haven’t seen the effects of it yet. We’re not a fouling team.
It definitely benefits us. I could end up slowing down the
game if you gave two physical teams.”
The Scotties host Sidney tonight.
“They are running a lot of guys out on the floor.
They like to press the whole game,” said Yoakam. “They
are a big physical team. It’s going to be a good match for
us this early.”

76-50 and Red Lodge beat Fairview 54-40. Saturday
Columbus beat Fairview 49-38, Jefferson defeated Big
Timber 73-42 and Red Lodge whipped Colstrip 86-44.
In District 2B scores, Harlem beat Roundup 91-26 and
Shepherd 62-52, Poplar lost to Lodge Grass 67-63 and to
St. Labre 64-63. Malta beat Belt 65-60 and Three Forks

The Griz Mom Who Fought
To Get Kids Back In Sports

She’s the Griz mom who fought to let kids play
sports again during the COVID-19 shutdowns. Not only
is her son the 2023 Jerry Rice Award recipient, but Dawn
Gillman is a State Representative in the Minnesota House
of Representatives.
Dawn Gillman is the mother of Griz running back Eli
Gillman, #10 in the photo above.
As the University of Montana Grizzlies gear up for
the big FCS semifinal against the North Dakota State
University Bison this Saturday, what a great time to chat
with Rep. Gillman. We talked football, adoption, the
unnecessary lockdowns, and more. She credits his running
back coach Justin Green for bringing Eli to Montana.
Aaron Flint: He’s (Eli) the recipient of the 2023 Jerry
Rice award. How incredible was that?
Rep. Gillman: Just a huge honor and blessing. Hats off
to the O line. I mean, and we could see that in the last game
— if the O line doesn’t create holes, it’s tough for backs to get
through. So big hats off to their coaches and just the guys
that work hard up front to create space. And then if you’ve
got room — ­ he’s gonna barrel through there. So it’s who he’s
always been and how he’s playing is how Eli’s always been.
What got her to start the “Let Them Play” Minnesota
group? What pushed her to fight to end the lockdowns
that cancelled school sports?
Rep. Gillman: I think what really motivated me,
too, is I had gotten an obituary of a young man that was
by a neighboring town of ours that had ended his life. He
had been sent home several times by a ‘close contact,’ and
it just was overwhelming. And he, you know, he isn’t here
anymore. A great kid on a football team. He was a son and
a brother to these siblings- and it was just tragic to see just
the mental health toll on kids and families. And I’m like, we
got to figure out how to do this.
