Point High School.

basically plays only six players,
which would help them to only
have two games.
Glasgow (8-8, 5-3) is on the
road for the remainder of the
season. The Scotties are at Harlem
(9-6, 2-6) Friday and Fairview (9-
7, 4-4) the following night.Glasgow
hasn’t played in Fairview for a long
time.
“Yeah, we haven’t since I was
in high school. The last time was in
1986,” Yoakam said. “I’m excited for
the guys to make that trip. They are
tough on their own floor. Harlem
will be their Senior-Night also.”
Probably makes Yoakam feel a
little old!
The Scotties need at least one
win, as they own the tie-breaker

Massive Montana Nuke Missile
Upgrade, Man Camps and More

One year after the Chinese spy balloon hovered
over our nuclear missile silos here in Montana, and Rob
Chaney shared a fascinating report on the transformation
soon to be underway in Central Montana.
Last April, I told you how Montana’s nuclear missile
silos are about to undergo a big, historic, and much-
needed transformation. Last week, Air Force officials
held a public meeting in Lewistown to detail some of
the work that is going to take place in order for this
transformation to occur.
Apparently it was a packed house. Phil Drake
described Chaney’s report as an “eye-opener” and boy
was Phil right. Two things stood out to me: 1) the detail
provided by Chaney shows how big of a deal this is and
2) look at the on-the-ground economic impacts this will
have from road construction to man camps building
infrastructure and more.
From The Missoulian: This year, the U.S. Air Force
hopes to start replacing that half-century-old weapons
system with new Sentinel ICBMs in an upgrade
estimated to cost around $132 billion...The Montana
portion of the project involves all those underground
launch facilities, eight to 15 aboveground missile alert
facilities, 32 communications towers, possibly 1,277
miles of new utility corridor and 1,750 miles of existing
corridor right-of-way...Between 2,000 and 3,000
workers will live at two hubs — one near Great Falls
and one near Lewistown.
Last year at the MACRS convention (Montana
Association of County Road Supervisors), we got to
hear a great update from Colonel Barry Little from
Malmstrom Air Force Base. Colonel Little spoke of the
great work being done on the ground, and underground,
by our airmen at Malmstrom to protect our nation every
day. He also made a great point about how this leg of the
nuclear triad is what gives our troops the freedom of
maneuver all over the world. And, he thanked the fine
folks building and maintaining our county roads that
allows the Air Force to help defend this nation.
What is different about the new system compared
to the old Minuteman III system going back to the John
F. Kennedy era, according to Colonel Little? Penetration
capabilities and maintenance. The silos and the missile
system will be easier to access from a maintenance and
upgrade standpoint than the old silos.

We’ve all been in a situation where your host (or
beer-tender) will utter these words....“say when.” That
usually means that the cup or glass is full or that you’ve
had enough. Friends, our cup is overflowing.
We’ve had enough. The House of Representatives
made a serious mistake when they let Mayorkas tell
us, continually, that “the border is secure” “the border
is closed.” And our lying President echoed those words
many times. Now Biden is recanting, finally saying the
border is a problem.
Ya Think?
I mentioned to my 83.2 listeners back in the early
months of 2021, shortly after Biden revoked Trump’s
“stay in Mexico” E.O. and replaced it with “come one
and all....our border is open to you.” The Democrats
have denied there is a crisis at our Southern border
since day one of Bidens rule. Very few Dems have even
visited Texas, let alone gone to the border areas to see
for themselves the chaos created by Bidens open border
policies.
Kinda reminds me of the first thing they teach you
in lawyer school, “never ask a question you don’t already
know the answer to,” and the number two thing in liar
school if to ask question of a witness that you know will
be challenged by your opponent and sustained by the
judge with the admonishment to the jury to “disregard
that last question, it should not be discussed in your
deliberations.” In other words, “Jury, untiring that bell.”
That’s exactly what Biden is doing now, as I warned
three years ago. The closer it gets to the election the
more of Trumps E.O’s that Biden struck down in his first
week in office will be on Bidens list of things that need
to be done....Like drilling, fracking, closing the border,
building the wall and etcetra. And the Mushhead college
sophomores of this country will think that Biden is the
savior. They don’t remember it was Trump who initially
wrote the orders to stop illegal immigration.
I’ve already mentioned about Tester’s phony slam
ads against Sheehy about Tim investing in a Chinese
information gathering company to “make money for
himself.” What the Hell, Tester....every time you buy
something made in China you are aiding and abetting
the enemy....and make no mistake about it Jon, China is
not our friend.
And you brag about all the stuff you do for the
State of Montana. So why is it that you’ve voted with
the Biden administration 95% of the time whether or
not the bills you are voting on have a negative effect on
the state or a positive effect?
Finally, people are waking up to the fact that the
Democrat Party is doing everything they can do to
discredit Donald Trump because they (the Left) are
deathly afraid that “The Donald” will regain his rightful
place in the White House and do his level best to
straighten out this country.
The Democrats want to take the next step towards
creating a dictatorship/Communist nation out of a free
Constitutional Republic such as the United States. Ask
any Venezuelan illegal immigrant how that worked out
for them and why did they come to this country.
Biden will withdraw from the presidential race
sometime in March and the Dems will struggle to find
anyone who can beat Trump. They’ll play around with a
Michelle Obama ticket and find that she wouldn’t have
a chance against Trump. Oh, she’ll get a good amount
of votes from the “Mushheads” and other females who
don’t care about the country as long as a female can win
the White House.
We live in exciting times folks. But what’s
happening here is nothing that hasn’t happened to every
Democracy ever started in the world. Most of them
failed within 200 years. We are 55 years over due! Think
about that when you go to vote.

have to go to Malta. We win out, we’ll be in second
place.”
That’s not bad for a team that was probably not
picked to finish that high in the conference. Poplar had
more varsity experience coming into the season than
the Scotties.
Glasgow earned the tie-breaker over Poplar with a
75-67 victory Friday night at Moccasin Square Gardens
in Poplar. The Indians edged Glagow 45-41 on the
Scotties floor on Jan. 12.
“It was a key win. It’s a fun place to play and it gave
us the tie-breaker,” Yoakam said.
Poplar fans are loud, which helped the Scotties feed
off of that.
In the win Friday night the Scotties finished after
the Indians had closed to within four points in the
second half. Glasgow had a 16 point lead in the fourth
quarter.
“We came into that game after a tough loss. We
knew that at this time of the season that they needed
to play well,” Yoakam said. “This is a focused thing
and we knew we had to take care of the ball. We knew
offensively we could score some points and defensively
we played man the whole game. It gave us some tough
matchups, but we played through every position. Poplar
was hitting some tough shots.”
The Scotties started the fourth off on a 10-0 run.
Connor Hudyma started the run with a free throw
and scored the last bucket of the run. In between it
was Wyatt Babb, Cade Hudyma, and Myles Yoakam
(3-pointer) scoring.
Delray Lilley scored 18 of the Indians 20 fourth
quarter points. The senior went on a 10-2 run midway
through the fourth to close the gap to 67-60. Lilley
scored off of three straight Glasgow turnovers.
“He was in foul trouble so they had to pull him off
on defense,” said Yoakam.
Cade Hudyma had four points and Yoakam a
three-ball for a 74-63 edge.
Another key in the Scotties victory came late in the
first half. Nick Solorzano buried two long range bombs
that kept the Scotties up 36-28 at the break.
“Myles got it going for us and Nick hit those threes
to give us that cushion back,” said Yoakam.
Yoakam got the Scotties going with a three-ball
to start the game. The junior bagged four long range
bombs in the quarter.
Cade Hudyma, Yoakam, and Babb combined for
64 of the Scotties 75 points. Hudyma chalked up 32
points, Yoakam had 18 on five 3-pointers, and Babb 14,
including a three-ball. Solorzano chipped in six points,
Connor Hudyma had three, and Toryn Richards two.
The Scotties weekend had a sour start when Malta
came to town for Glasgow’s Senior-Night. The Mustangs
coasted to a 79-55 win.
Malta took a 19-7 first quarter lead and had the
game well in hand by halftime, 41-15. The Scotties
managed to get the deficit down to 56-32 entering the

The Mustangs’ guards were too much for Glasgow
as they closed out the first quarter with a 12-0 run,
which continued into the second. Malta finished with a
20-0 run. Cade Hudyma scored inside the paint to end
the run.
“It just wasn’t there for us. You had five guys that
were moving quickly so it took us longer to adjust,” said
Yoakam.
Glasgow started going inside to Cade Hudyma for
points in the second half. The freshman scored 23 of his
game-high 34 points. And, he went 8 for 13 at the foul
line.
Yoakam was held to five points, Babb had four,
Connor Hudyma three, Richards and Wyatt Sugg two
each.
Other scores from the weekend had Fairview over
Poplar 53-43 and Harlem 58-56,. Fergus over Class B
third-ranked Malta 62-60, Harlem over Wolf Point 69-
62 and Malta over Wolf Point 92-56.

Laborers are needed for weed and mosquito control. Applicants must be 18
years or older and have a valid driver’s license. Looking for applicants that are
willing to work outdoors and are able to lift up to 65lbs. Successful applicants
will be required to follow rules, regulations, and wear provided safety attire. Job
duties will be assigned when hired. These positions involve working with various
chemicals and may require strenuous physical activity. Applicants must establish
and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees, supervisors,
and the public. Applicants will be subject to reference checks. We are looking for
responsible, honest, self-motivated and hardworking applicants. Positions start
late May and wrap up by early September. Work days may include some nightshift
work for the mosquito control district.
