for reelection for the Eastern Congressional District.
Another Congressional Eastern District candidate,
one that was featured on the front page of the Buzz
in January, stopped in to BS Central today after being
featured on Live Under the Big Sky with Stan Ozark this
morning.
Stacy Zinn, also a Republican, has her sights to be
headed to D.C. to help straighten up the mess this new-
age bunch of left-wing Dingbats has created. But we can
tell you, Stacy us a straight shooter, having even packing
a rifle while being deployed!
As for the Republican ticket come the primary, our
guess it will come down to Stacy and Denny... Matt may

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks’ Unlocking Public Lands
(UPL) Program or the Public Access Land Agreement
(PALA) Program.
These programs are designed to provide recreational
public access to state (Montana Department of Natural
Resources and Conservation) or federal (Bureau of
Land Management or United States Forest Service) land
where no or limited legal public access currently exists.
For enrollment in UPL, landowners will receive an
income tax credit in the amount of $750 per agreement
and up to a maximum of $3,000 in tax credits in
exchange for allowing access across the private lands,
roads or trails to reach inaccessible public land.
Landowners must hold the public land lease and decide
how the public may cross their private property for all
recreations.
For enrollment in PALA, landowners will be
paid, including money for possible infrastructure
reimbursements (e.g., gravel, culverts, cattle guards)
to facilitate public access to inaccessible public lands.
Scotties to take on Fairfield in first round of Divisional

After finishing in fourth place at the District 2B
Tournament held in Wolf Point, the Glasgow Scotties
will have the task of stopping Fairfield in a first round
contest at the Northern B Divisional.
The Scotties (10-11) play at 1 p.m. Thursday in
Malta. Fairfield (17-4) won the 1B crown, 45-42, over
Cut Bank (15-5). Poplar (12-8) takes on Shelby (16-6),
Malta (18-2) plays Chinook (6-16) and Cut Bank plays
Fairview (14-8).

The Glasgow Elks Lodge #1922 received a $2,000.00 Spotlight grant
which was used to purchase baby shower items for the Eastern Montana
Community Mental Health Center. The items will be distributed by the
EMCMHC to new parents. A majority of the items were purchased from
local businesses and included baby bottles, diapers, formula, bibs, Q-tips,
blankets, etc. In keeping with the requirements of the grant, children’s board
books were purchased to develop literacy skills in young children. The items
will be shared by the Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center
with the Food Bank, WIC, Youth Dynamics, Hi-Line Homes, Valley County
Health Department and Child Family Services. Representing the Glasgow
Elks Lodge #1922 are left to right are Lindsey Peterson and Robyn Albus,
members. Mary Hughes and Katrena Palmer work with the Eastern Montana
Community Mental Health Center.
