than letting Kirk shoot a
possible game-winning
three pointer, Dallas went
for the tackle instead. Brian
Mix was the whistle blower
in the background to call
the foul, sending Kirk to
shoot individual free throws.
However, Dallas’s 2015
crew remained victorious
for the championship. This
year’s Belly Bump gets
underway on Saturday,
December 30th at 11:00
a.m. It’s two days of jam-
packed games of hoops with
the title happening at 4:30

State Sets New Records for
Employment in November
Montana Governor Greg Gianforte and Sarah
Swanson, commissioner of the Montana Department
of Labor and Industry (DLI), announced the state’s
total employment and labor force grew in the month
of November, setting new state records for both,
according to data compiled by DLI and the federal
Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
Montana’s total employment reached a new all-
time high in November, growing by nearly 580 jobs
and with more than 563,000 Montanans working.
Since Gov. Gianforte took office in January 2021,
more than 41,000 jobs have been created in Montana.
“More Montanans are working now than ever
before, and the size of our labor force continues to
set new records. These positive trends continue for
hardworking Montanans and employers alike,” Gov.
Gianforte said. “I firmly believe better is always
possible, and we’ll continue delivering on our pro-
family, pro-jobs agenda to help more Montanans
thrive and achieve the American dream.”
“As Montana’s labor force continues to grow,
there are encouraging signs our worker shortage
continues to abate,” said Commissioner Swanson.
“Steady growth in both employment and our labor
force show Montana’s job market is healthy and
robust as we prepare to enter 2024.”
Montana’s labor force also grew by more than
1,400 workers in November, adding more than 11,000
workers since the start of the year.
Labor force growth slightly outpaced growth in
total employment in November, leading to a slight
increase in the state’s unemployment rate to 3.0%.
November marks the first month in two years that
Montana’s unemployment rate reached 3.0%. The
state’s unemployment rate remained below 3.0% for
the 24 months between November 2021 and October
2023. Prior to Governor Gianforte taking office, the
state’s unemployment rate fell below 3.0% in just
three months in the last 50 years – January, February,
and March of 2007.
The unemployment rate in Valley County was
2% compared to 3.8% in Phillips County and 3.6% in
Roosevelt County. The national unemployment rate
in November was 3.7%, according to BLS.

 While shopping in a food store, two nuns
happened to pass by the beer, wine, and liquor
section. One asked the other if she would like a
beer.
The second nun answered that, indeed, it
would be very nice to have one, but that she would
feel uncomfortable purchasing it.
The first nun replied that she would handle it
without a problem. She picked up a six-pack and
took it to the cashier.
The cashier was surprised, so the nun said,
“This is for washing our hair.”
Without blinking an eye, the cashier reached
under the counter and put a package of pretzel
sticks in the bag with the beer.“The curlers are on
me.”
Once upon a time, there was a little boy that
lived in the country. They had to use an outhouse,
and the little boy hated it because it was hot in the
summer and cold in the winter and stank all the
time.
The outhouse was sitting on the bank of a creek
and the boy determined that one day he would push
that outhouse into the creek. One day after a spring
rain, the creek was swollen so the little boy decided
today was the day to push the outhouse into the
creek. So he got a large stick and started pushing.
Finally, the outhouse toppled into the creek and
floated away. That night his dad told him they were
going to the woodshed after supper. Knowing that
meant a spanking, the little boy asked why.
The dad replied, “Someone pushed the outhouse
into the creek today. It was you, wasn’t it son?”
The boy answered yes. Then he thought a
moment and said, “Dad, I read in school today that
George Washington chopped down a cherry tree and
didn’t get into trouble because he told the truth.”
The dad replied, “Well, son, that’s because
George Washington’s father wasn’t in the cherry
tree.”

I wonder if there are Democrats
everywhere whispering to each other
under cover of darkness things like
“what the Hell is going on”, or “is
our President for real?” or, “we can’t
survive another four years of Biden”
and the list goes on.
Heck oh dear, Democrats aren’t that different from
the real people. Most have good educations, some can
even think for themselves and know in their hearts that
the Biden Administration has been a total disaster. The
following is a list of things the Biden administration has
decreed that I would hope would give even the Democrats
some random thoughts to ponder.
Numero uno is the opening of our borders to any
one and everyone and mostly unvetted individuals and
other people who might or might not be carrying drugs
and other contraband or have a grudge against the US or
are in violent gangs. The government and some bleedin’
heart NGO’s are more worried about the welfare of these
criminal illegal aliens than they are of our homeless and
wounded ex-military personnel.
Why should the “Wounded Warrior Project” have to
go on TV begging the American people to help those who
have been horribly injured while in the military service?
These folks should be getting the best of care provided by
the government that sent them into harms way rather than
making sure that an illegal alien has a cell phone, clothing,
food, shelter, a tent and other necessities. With all the
graphic pictures of the wounded being paraded across our
TV screen it’s absolutely no wonder that enlistment in all
branches has declined. Young folks saying “why the Hell
should I go into the military when the government will just
forget me if I become disabled from a combat injury and
end up like some of those folks. Nuff said.
There’s some crazy talk of Michelle Obama getting
the Democrat nod to defeat Donald Trump and become
not only the first woman president female president the
the first Black female president. (And excuse me if I used
the wrong or unacceptable, or inappropriate pronouns).
One can only imagine the damage to this country with
four more years of Barry? Yikes. One can only imagine if
Michelle’s running mate would be Oprah. It would only
work if the Obamas divorced and Barack was exiled to an
uninhabited island somewhere in the North of Iceland
without any means of communications. Then Michelle
would have to undergo a full frontal lobotomy to purge
any recollections of her former husband’s administration.
Nuff said.
Minnesota has changed its state flag. Seems the old
style depicted an Indian, horseback and a farmer plowing
up the Indians happy hunting grounds. So without any
public discussion, or a contest to invite the public to
submit their ideas for a new flag, the state simply decreed
the change. The new flag has an eerie likeness to the
National Flag of......Somalia. Oh and not to be over-
looked. The Governor of said state has put up 20 million
tax payers dollars to install Tampon and Kotex dispensers
in …..wait for it....Wai... mens restrooms and lockers.
Seems this is to accommodate the trans- individuals who
aren’t of the Standtopee tribe but who think they are.
Some folks were born to be trans....others succumbed to
social pressure and ignorance. I’m done with this topic.
Seems the United States can place sanctions
on other Nations for election interference and other
“crimes” against lawful elections but when it comes to
the Democrats they think it is OK to deny a person a
placement on their state ballot. Every state that does this
unlawful deed needs to be sanctioned by all other states.
The Liberal faction is doing this because they are deathly
askeered that Trump will regain the White House. The
more that becomes apparent the more illegal, semi-illegal
and just plain stupid things the Left will concoct to sway
the voters. And finally.
Clarence Thomas a SCOTUS who has been under
the microscope since being appointed to the highest
judgeship in the country said, the other day, that he
needs more money to do the job. Seems $249,000 + - isn’t
enough to support his current lifestyle and he has put
pressure on the Republican party that he may resign if he
doesn’t get a raise. He’s a Republican, you know.
Just some of the crazy world we live in, friends.
Oh and Joe Biden just admitted he “defied” the
Supreme Court. More later.
