had a vision. He is the
Pastor of St. Raphael
Catholic Church. Five
years ago, in 2018, he
asked Perry Shorten if
he could build a grotto
to honor Jesus’ mother,
Mary.
Perry said, “Yes,”
and the masonry project
located east of St. Raphael

begun. It was completed
by August 15th, 2023, the
