I. RATIONALE:
In pursuant to the Presidential Proclamation No. 553, s. 1990, known as the
“Earth Day” issued in the Philippines as declaration of joining the celebration together
with other nations and to raise the level of awareness on the gravity of environmental
degradation and destruction in the country that threatens the very quality of life of
many Filipinos.

In connection, the Malaguip Integrated School shall propose a


program/activites titled “MIS for Mother Earth”.

II. OVERVIEW:
This project will be a collaboration with the PTA and other club organizations in
celebration to the International Earth Day. This project is initiated by the SSG officers
with the theme “MIS, for a better Earth”. This project includes the following activities:
Social Media Campaign, Oplan Dalus, Clean-Up Drive, Tree Planting, Coastal Cleaning,
Raffle draw with a twist and a Photography Contest.

III. OBJECTIVES:
1. To raise the awareness of the MIS people about climate change.
2. To contribute in the movement stopping climate change.

IV. EXPECTED OUTPUTS


1. People would be more aware about climate change.
2. People will participate in the activities.
