DETAILED LESSON PLAN IN MATHEMATICS I

I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson the students should be able to:
 Seperate group of objects into fourths
 Identify ¼ of a whole
 Read and write one-fourth in symbol.

Topic : Separating a Whole into Fourths
Reference : Teachers Guide in Mathematics pp. 133-134
Materials : Realia, cut outs of shapes, laptop, pictures and chalkboard

Let us all stand for our opening prayer.
One pupil will lead a prayer.

Good morning class.

c. Checking of attendance
I will check the attendance first, who is
absent in group 1?
Ma’am no one is absent in group 1.
Very good! How about in group 2?
Nobody is absent in group 2 ma’am.
Very good class, give yourselves a “yes
clap” because all of you are present today.

d. Review
Now let’s have a short review about our
past lesson. What was our lesson yesterday?
