14:14

engleskog jezika (evo sad čitam, "thanks to pandemic...").

14:45

14:56

I čemu onda uopće taj izraz? Ne možemo li kazati našim riječima, bez izmišljanja nekih novih
termina?

15:11

11:59

Okay, how about this? I’ll write a short story about life in present and our future, and you can tell me
what you think. Here it is:

Life in Present and Our Future

Anna woke up to the sound of her alarm clock. She reached for her phone and checked her
messages. There were none. She sighed and got out of bed. She put on her smart glasses and walked
to the bathroom. She brushed her teeth and washed her face, while the glasses showed her the
latest news, weather, and traffic updates. She didn’t pay much attention to them. She had seen them
all before.

She went to the kitchen and made herself a cup of coffee. She sat down at the table and opened her
laptop. She logged into her work account and checked her emails. There were a few from her boss,
asking her to finish some reports by the end of the day. She groaned and closed the laptop. She
hated her job. It was boring and repetitive, and she felt like she was wasting her life.

She finished her coffee and got dressed. She grabbed her backpack and headed to the door. She put
on her mask and gloves, and scanned her QR code on the door lock. The door opened and she
stepped outside. She walked to the bus stop, keeping a safe distance from other people. She waited
for the bus, while the glasses showed her some ads for online courses, travel deals, and dating apps.
She ignored them. She had no interest in any of them.
She got on the bus and sat down on an empty seat. She plugged in her earphones and listened to
some music. She looked out of the window and saw the same buildings, cars, and people that she
saw every day. She felt bored and restless. She wanted something more from life. Something
different. Something exciting.

She arrived at her office building and got off the bus. She entered the lobby and scanned her QR
code on the elevator panel. The elevator took her to the 15th floor, where she worked as a data
analyst for a big corporation. She walked to her cubicle and sat down on her chair. She turned on her
computer and started working on her reports.

She spent the next eight hours typing numbers, making charts, and writing summaries. She didn’t
enjoy any of it. She felt like she was doing the same thing over and over again, without any purpose
or meaning. She wondered if anyone ever read or cared about her reports.

She took a lunch break at noon, but she didn’t go out to eat. She ate a sandwich that she had
brought from home, while watching some videos on her phone. She didn’t talk to anyone else in the
office. They were all busy with their own work, or their own phones.

She finished her work at five o’clock and logged out of her computer. She packed up her things and
left the office. She took the bus back home, listening to music again.

She got home and unlocked the door with her QR code. She entered the apartment and took off her
mask and gloves. She threw them in the trash bin and washed her hands.

She went to the living room and turned on the TV. She browsed through some channels, but nothing
caught her interest. She switched off the TV and opened her laptop again.

She checked her social media accounts, but there was nothing new or interesting there either.

She felt lonely and depressed.

She decided to order some pizza for dinner.

She opened an app on her phone and placed an order.

She waited for the pizza to arrive.

She wondered if this was all there was to life.

She wondered if there was any hope for a better future.

She wondered if anyone else felt the same way as she did.

She wondered if anyone cared about her at all.

She heard a knock on the door.

She got up from the couch and walked to the door.

She opened it and saw a delivery guy holding a pizza box.

He smiled at her and said:

“Hi, I’m Tom.”
