C. Presenting examples
of the new lesson Show to the pupils 23 leaves. Let the pupils count the
leaves.
Group the leaves into sets of tens.
How many tens are there? What is the remaining
number?
Show 58 leaves. Let the pupils count the leaves.
Ask, what is the fast way in counting this leaves?
(group by tens)

Repeat the activity for other numbers.

D. Discussing new
concepts and Let the pupils get their counters. Guide them to count the
