ABSTRACT
Convincing today's youth to join in community-based outreach projects and other similar initiatives in
line with national development becomes more difficult than ever as society becomes driven by fast-paced
technology and instant pleasure. Using a Casillan (2014)-adapted questionnaire and supplemented with
documentary analysis, this descriptive-qualitative study evaluated the status of the Civic Welfare Training
Service (CWTS) and Literacy Training Service (LTS) components of the University of Northern Philippines'
National Service Training Program (NSTP).

The enrollment affects the budget. Equipment and facilities are shared. The degree of NSTP
implementation is very high in terms of the curriculum, goals, administration, programs, and services, as well as
the budget, fees, and insurances. However, it is only very high in terms of the facilities and equipment,
activities, faculty/teaching staff, and library resources overall. The adoption of NSTP presented some somewhat
substantial issues for the respondents

NARRATIVE DOCUMENTARY
On September 9, 2023, our third cleaning work at CWTS Sir. Percival Labog chose three teams: Team Ugsa, Team
Banyas, and our team, which is Team Ulupong. Sir. Percival Labog assigned the three teams to the gymnasium area.
After our instructor disseminated the information about what we're going to do, we were sent to the gymnasium to
clean up behind it. Three teams were signed by our professor, Team Ugsa, Team Banyas, and our group, Team Ulupong,
to clean. There are things there that have not been used for a long time. There is gym equipment lying around, and we
will move it to another room before cleaning. In the room where we move the gym equipment, someone is also cleaning
there for the gym equipment to be placed. After we finished cleaning and were able to finish our task, we rested and
had a snack to recover our strength and tiredness. So in this service training program, CWTS, this course introduces all of
us students to the importance of civic consciousness through discussion of nationalism and social responsibility, servant
leadership, and good citizenship with the help of partner communities and organizations.

BEFORE:

After our professor gave the instructions, we immediately went to the designated area under the stage to
see the equipment to be transferred. Here, we saw how dusty and dirty it was underneath. It can also be seen
that the gym equipment there has not been used for a long time because the other equipment has begun to break
and rust. After our group discussed how to start it, we immediately started it because there was a program to be
held that day.

DURING:

The next thing we did was start cleaning the area right away, removing all of the training equipment
from the basement and other items. It is covered in so much dust that we relocate it to a spacious space outside
to be cleaned or wiped. We also cleaned the basement's inside because it was so filthy and full of trash. It was
quite difficult to clean the area and the training equipment, but with the assistance of my team and other teams,
we were able to do so successfully. We also segregated all the trash that was collected and properly put it in the
garbage bin.

AFTER:
After the cleaning, teams arranged all the things under the stage, like foam, chairs, and so on. Other
teams gathered to put all the gym equipment in another room. Though the cleaning process was so hard because
there was a lot of dust floating everywhere, we were able to manage. Finally, all things were done. The said area
is cleaned, all things are cleaned, and everybody is tired. Also, because of that, we met new friends. Thanks to
all the cooperatives in the teams.

We are Team Ulupong, Team Banyas, and Team Ugsa, the hardworking, resilient, and responsible
students of NVSU. Because of CWTS, we met new people who became friends. I am grateful to have these
kinds of people who can cooperate at any time. Lastly, after our cleaning, we took a picture for our
documentary and also for memories. Team Ulupong, Team Banyas, and Team Ugsa are hardworking, resilient,
and responsible students at NVSU. Because of CWTS, we met new people who became friends. I am grateful to
have these kinds of people who can cooperate at any time.
