At the end of this lesson, the pupils are expected to.
a. Identify common consonant digraphs in words.
b. Appreciate the use of common consonant digraphs in our daily life.
c. Read and pronounce the words with digraphs correctly.

Topic: Reading consonant digraphs ch and sh in
words,phrases,sentences,and short stories
Reference: Brave New World of Learning ENGLISH
Materials: Visual aids, written test
Values: Appreciation, cooperation and understanding

A digraph has two consonant put together, but


only one sounds can be heard. Example are
the digraphs ch and sh.

Say ch and sh in front of the mirror. Practice


reading the words in the list below.
