and present for to today. Ms. Anna?

5. Review
6. Motivation
Let have a games entitled “ Arrange Me!”
Process
1. Teacher we provided the 4 (four) difference
size box. (guide the class in arrange the box into smallest to
2. Then student arrange the box into smallest to biggest and biggest to smallest order)
biggest and biggest to smallest
3. We have 5 (five) minutes to finish the games.

B. Lesson Proper
What have you notice or an idea while we are the
games. What is all about? Ok Samuel

Very good! Samuel (compare and order)

Comparing and Ordering numbers
up to 100000
Class, kindly read

Discussion
The symbol > (greater than sign) to show that
the first number is bigger than the other.
(the class will listen attentively as the teacher
Eg. 687 > 678
discuss the lesson)

If you are comparing numbers where the first

number is smaller than the other, you can use
the symbol < (less than sign).

Eg. 2 139 < 2 234

If the two numbers that you are comparing are

of equal value, you can use the symbol = ( equal
sign) to show that the two numbers are equal.

Eg.63 145 = 63 145

To arrange number in Increasing order,

compare the numbers and find out which is
smaller or greater. Then arrange the number
from the smallest to the biggest in value.

Eg. 23 456 , 23 145 , 23 523 , 23 523

23 034 , 23 145 , 23 456 , 23 523

To arrange number in Decreasing order,
compare the numbers and find out which is
smaller or greater. Then arrange the number
from the biggest to the smallest in value.
Eg. 23 456 , 23 145 , 23 523 , 23 034

23 523 , 23 456 , 23 145 , 23 034

(after the discussion , ask the student)

The smallest to the biggest in value.

The biggest to the smallest in value.

(increasing order)
To show that the two numbers are equal.
(decreasing order)
It show that one number or values is large than
another numbers. (equal sign)

Very good class! (greater than)

7. Group Activities
Before we start our lesson. We have a simple
game entitled “QUIZ BEEEE”

Are you ready class?

Process:
1. The quiz shall be consist 6 teams. Each team
must be have 5 participant
2. The games will be divided into three (3)
round. Comparing, Increasing and Decreasing.
3. The participant teams should be at the place
of the competition five (5) minutes before the
scheduled time. Immediate disqualification will
be implemented to those participant teams who
failed to show up to three (3) minutes after the
supporter start of the quiz beee.
4. Clarification regarding the rules of the
competition shall be entertained by the
committee before the start of the games.
5. And then the teacher will give example about (cooperate actively to your group)
the games before start the games
6. And the answer the correctly will have a
points
7. But when they provided the wrong answer
they will not get a points.
