II. Project Background

This project is proposed to developed localized and contextualized learning
Materials in Mathematics for Grades IV, V and VI.

III. Objective
The objective of this module is to help the pupils learn the lesson on addition of
fractions in an interactive manner.

IV. Project Implementation Scheme

This module will be used during Mathematics Power It Up program at Dr. Alfredo Pio de
Roda Elementary School.

V. Summary of Effectiveness
E-module in Mathematics about addition of fractions was used by Grade IV, V and VI
learners of Dr. Alfredo Pio de Roda Elementary School. It was an effective tool in teaching
the said competency in a way that the learners learned independently and at his/her own pace.
This module was also an interactive module wherein pupils can navigate the power point
presentation in doing activities. With the guidance of the teachers in navigating the
presentations, it was noted that the pupils enjoyed their lesson in addition of fractions.
