 Cylinders, valves, regulators, fittings and hoses shall be inspected for damage and
leaks (e.g., soapy water) prior to use. Defective equipment shall not be

 A qualified and certified fire watch shall be assigned to any welding, cutting,
grinding or burning operation. The fire watch shall remain at the work area during
these activities and for no less than 30 minutes after the hot work has finished to

 Equipment with defects or damage (e.g., cracked hoses, cylinders with dents or
