Phần này khó nhen, nhưng đừng quá lo lắng vì mình sẽ giúp các bạn hiểu và giải quyết

Sẽ có rất nhiều từ đồng nghĩa hiện ra, tuy nhiên các bạn nên tra lại vào từ điển Anh-
Anh để hiểu rõ ý nghĩa và cách sử dụng.
Ví dụ mình chọn từ opt for và tra lại vào từ điển Collins

Cách tra từ điển đúng cách: (nên sử dụng từ điển ANH-ANH nhé)
1. Nắm được cách phát âm của từ
2. Nắm được loại từ (danh, động, tính, trạng)
3. Nắm được ý nghĩa thông qua phần định nghĩa
4. Nắm được cách sử dụng thông qua phần ví dụ
*Để nghe và hiểu được từ bạn sẽ cần mục 1, 3
*Để sử dụng được từ khi nói bạn sẽ cần mục 1, 3, 4
*Để sử dụng được từ khi viết bạn sẽ cần mục 2, 3, 4
Vậy nên nếu chỉ nắm được mục 3 thì bạn sẽ không thể nghe, nói hay viết được.

danh từ sẽ tồn tại trong câu ở hai dạng sau:
1. số ít phải có mạo từ, vd a student
2. số nhiều phải có s, vd students
*đa phần trong câu ta diễn đạt nghĩa nói chung của danh từ nên thường sử dụng
số nhiều.

Số 1: hiện tại đơn diễn đạt sự thật, khẳng định (việc du học chắc chắn giúp học sinh

Số 2: hiện tại hoàn thành nhấn mạnh vào kết quả, ở đây mình nhấn mạnh vào chữ
many (việc du học đã giúp nhiều học sinh trở nên độc lập)
Số 3: tương lai đơn diễn đạt nghĩa khẳng định sự việc sẽ xảy ra trong tương lai,
khuyến khích (du học sẽ giúp học sinh trở nên độc lập → học sinh nên đi du học)
5. Dùng động từ khiếm khuyết để lập luận
Hãy xem sự khác biệt của những câu dưới đây

Số 1, 3: can/ will dùng cho ‘strong possibility’ - dùng để đưa ra khẳng định/ lời
khuyên

Số 2: could/ may dùng cho ‘weak possibility’ - dùng để đưa ra quan điểm, không
khẳng định

6. Lập luận theo cấu trúc 3 câu

Ví dụ mình đưa ra một lợi ích của việc du học nước ngoài:

Ý tưởng
- đi du học → giúp học sinh trở nên độc lập hơn

Lý giải
- học sinh phải sống độc lập không có sự hỗ trợ của ba mẹ → tự đi làm thêm
để trang trải sinh hoạt phí

Hệ quả
- có tính độc lập cao → giúp học sinh tăng niềm tin vào bản thân → trở nên
tự tin đương đầu khó khăn thử thách trong tương lai

đi du học → trở nên độc lập → lý giải: phải sống độc lập không có bố mẹ → hệ quả
tương lai: tin tưởng vào năng lực bản thân → trở nên tự tin khi đương đầu khó khăn,
thử thách
