Our lesson for today is about adding
numbers with regrouping
Now I have a situation here. Who George has 364 dinosaur toys. Peppa brings 139
wants to read? lego blocks to play with George. How many toys do
they have together?

Who are the characters in the problem? Peppa and George

How about Peppa how many blocks did 139
she bring?

They bring all their toys to play together. Yes Ma’am

Write the numbers in columns.

Second step
Add the ones place
4 + 9= 13
Write number 3 below 9 on the ones
place. And regroup 1 on the tens place.

Add the tens column
1+6+ 3= 10
Write number 0 below 3 on the tens place.
And regroup 1 on the hundreds place.

Fourth step
Add the hundreds column 5
1+3+1=5
Write number 5 below 1 on the hundreds
place.

The final answer is 503 toys they have together.
