1. Should teacher record results of formative assessment for grading purposes? Why or why not?

Oo, sapagkat ang formative assessment ay nakatutulong upang masukat at malaman ang
kaalaman ng mag-aaral. Sa pamamagitan nito malalaman kung nauunawaan ng mag-aaral ang
isang paksa na kanilang tinalakay. Kaya marapat lamang na itto ay itala ng guro at bigyan ng
grado.

2.Based on your observations, what formative assessment practice worked?

Pagsusulit. Ang pagsusulit pagkatapos ng paksa ay isang magandang paraan upang masubok
at malaman ang kaalaman ng isang bata. Ito ay maaaring maikli o mahabang pagsusulit. Base sa
aking obserbasyon sa aming guro, siya ay nagbibigay ng pagsusulit tuwing makatatapos ng
dalawang paksa. Ito ay gumagana dahil nalalaman ng guro ang lagay ng kaniyang mag-aral.

Formative assessment is tasting the soup while cooking.

Napakahalaga ng pagsusuri sa mundo ng edukasyon. Bilang guro, ito'y hindi dapat mawala sa
bawat pagtalima sa klase. Mahalaga na maunawaan natin ang antas ng kaalaman at pag-unawa ng
mga mag-aaral sa bawat aralin na ating itinuturo. Ang formatibong pagsusuri, tulad ng mga maikling
pagsusulit o iba't ibang aktibidad, ay mahalaga upang maagapan ang mga pagkukulang at mapabuti
ang proseso ng pagtuturo sa oras mismo ng pag-aaral. Ang ganitong pamamaraan ay nagbibigay daan
sa atin na masusing masubaybayan ang pag-unlad ng bawat isa, na nagbubunsod ng mas epektibong
pagtuturo at pagkatuto.

Oo, dapat mong i-record ang mga resulta ng formatibong pagsusuri. Ito ay mahalaga para magkaruon
ng dokumentadong basehan tungo sa pangunahing layunin ng pagsusuri — ang pagbibigay ng
feedback at suporta sa pag-unlad ng mga mag-aaral. Ang pag-record ay nagbibigay daan sa masusing
pagsusuri ng guro sa pagkatuto ng bawat isa, naglalayong mas mapabuti ang pagtuturo at maagapan
ang mga pangangailangan ng mga mag-aaral.

3. Why should a teacher find out if students understand the lesson while teaching is in
progress? Isn’t it better to do a once-and-for all assessment at the completion of the
entire lesson?

Hindi, mahalaga pa rin ang pagtuklas kung nauunawaan ng mga mag-aaral ang aralin habang
itinuturo. Sapagkat ang formatibong pagsusuri ay nagbibigay agad ng feedback, sa madaling salita,
nagbibigay daan sa agarang pagsasaayos ng guro sa pagtuturo. Hindi lamang ito nakakatulong sa
masusing pag-unlad ng mga mag-aaral, kundi nagpapahayag din ng anumang pagkukulang sa guro na
maaring agarang maaksiyonan. Ang ganitong malasakit sa pagkatuto ng bawat isa ay nagbubunga ng
mas matagumpay na pagsasanay at pag-unlad.
