Dear Sir.

Good day!

Opening of classes for this school year is the hardest time in history, for the world is facing a threat that
might endanger the life of every student. This life-threatening situation that we are experiencing is brought
to us by the virus called COVID-19. In this circumstance, all forms of corporates were put at temporary rest
including educational progress.
Nevertheless, this pandemic is not something that can stop the Department of Education to attain its
decisive goal that is to provide quality education for all students in the Philippines. Hence, face-to-face
instruction is strictly prohibited for it can rapidly transmit the virus from one person to another. For this
reason, the Academic Department would like to conduct a School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) ON Blended
and Flipped Instruction: Covid-19 Alternative Teaching Modality cum Demonstration teaching on February
23, 2021.
In this SLAC, the teachers are expected to develop the following competencies
a. Understand the blended and flipped learning;
b. Identify and integrate the roles of the teachers in blended and flipped learning;
c. Select appropriate pedagogies applicable to blended and flipped instruction; and
d. Design, demonstrate and critique education plans relevant to the needs of the learners.

We are submitting herewith the program proposal, program matrix, programme and certificates for your
review. Please let us know if you need any other information from us or you have any pieces of advice and
suggestions on the best possible way to conduct our plan.
