Example

1. Socratic dialogue on the Philippine educational system

Person 1: What is the current situation of the educational system in the

Philippines?
Person 2: The Philippines is currently using the K–12 system, but there are still
vital problems, such as the lack of educational materials, classrooms,
armchairs, gadgets, and internet connectivity.
Person 1: So are you saying that due to these shortcomings, the educational
system in the Philippines is problematic?
Person 2: Yes, the Philippines is still at the bottom of the list when it comes to the
quality of education.
Person 1: What, then, is quality education?
Person 2: Quality education allows students, whatever their status in life, to
access educational materials and facilities. To achieve this, teachers
must be well-equipped to teach. Learning can take place anywhere.

2. Hegelian dialectic on the Philippine educational system

Thesis: The Philippines should invest in improving the salary of teachers, so they
will be motivated to teach.

Antithesis: Books, computers or laptops, classrooms, and internet connectivity

are more important than the salary of teachers in improving the Philippine
educational system.

Synthesis: The government must invest in human and material resources to

improve the quality of education in the Philippines. Investing in education is
investing in the future of the nation.
