_______
Dear Ma’am,
The Association of Tertiary School Paper Advisers of Bicol, Inc. (ATSPAB) is thrilled
to announce the resumption of the 21st Regional Tertiary Press Conference, marking the end of a
hiatus caused by the global pandemic. Scheduled to take place from January 17-19, 2024, the
event will unfold at the prestigious La Piazza Hotel and Convention Center in Legazpi City. This
year's conference, themed "AI and Ethics: Shaping the Future of Campus Journalism in the
Digital Age," aspires to bring together members from student publications across higher
education institutions in the Bicol region. Participants will engage in spirited competition across
various categories of campus journalism. The top five (5) winners at the regional level will go on
to represent the region in the upcoming 19th Luzonwide Higher Education Press Conference,
slated for March 19–21, 2024, at Villa Caceres Hotel in Naga City.
In this regard, may we request to excuse the selected publication staff from their
respective classes on January 17-19, 2024 so they can attend and take part in our assembly.
We are looking forward to your favorable response and continued support of this
endeavor.
Respectfully,
