Greetings!

I would like to respectfully request a transfer from my current workstation at Tayawan National
High School, District 6, to any open position at any open school, ideally at Bayawan City Science and
Technology Education Center or Bayawan National High School.

I am KATHLEEN SINGCO NACUA, 35 years old, and I currently live in the locality of Sitio Buli-Buli,
Barangay Banga, Bayawan City, Negros Oriental. I currently work as a teacher for 3 years now at
Tayawan National High School, Bayawan City, Negros Oriental.

The following legitimate and justified reasons made it necessary for me to submit a letter
request and request your good office approval in my hope to be transferred:

1. Apparently, R.A. “An Act Granting Priority to Residents of the Barangay, Municipality or City
where the school is Located in the Appointment or Assignment of public-School Teachers,” also
known as Localization Law no. 8190.
Being both a mom and a teacher, it is easier for me to know that my children are in secure
environment that is closely supervised. If my station is close to where I live, I will be a more
effective and successful teacher. The school I’ve selected are close to my house.
2. My husband is away from us; thus, I am the only one struggling as “INATAY” or a solo parent for
my 3 children. I have two daughters a 3-year-old and 5-year-old and 12-year-old son. It is not
easy for me to left my children to my parent since my parents were old and they also had a
health issue. I have no babysitter to watch over my children and I am afraid of what the
Maguad’s sibling’s explosion.
3. Due to the aforementioned concerned regarding the KILLINGS or NPA’s ambitions to overthrow
the government countrywide, I feel myself to be in danger. Recently there is a man killed in a
gun shot. It was my co-teacher/colleague’s father. It was previously reported that Barangay
Tayawan is supposed to be the preferred route for NPA arriving from the mountains of Pamari,
Negros Oriental, and it has a challenge with peace and order because it is known to be infested
with NPA rebels. While travelling, one may run into all these potentials threats and dangers in a
range of locations. Since so many people are losing their lives this year of 2022. I humbly want
your good office to help me in transferrinPg to the school of my choice.
4. My health condition; asthmatic, allergic rhinitis and myocardial ischemia are hereditary
conditions that run in my family. My asthma and allergic rhinitis can flare up when I travel to a
place that is cold, hot or dusty. I always carry an antihistamine with me when I have this issue in
case it triggers and can make me drowsy. If I’m feeling unwell or sleepy, I can’t focus during my
class. So, I’m pleading with your kind office to transfer me to a school close to my house.

I’m hoping for the best possible response to this letter of transfer request.
