Hypertextual poems are

pages at all.
Now, the students will be
grouped into five. Each
group will write their own
poem that consists of one
to two stanzas only. The
poem will be based on the
assigned given theme.
They’ll choose words from
the poem that they want to
add hyperlinks. Insert as
many links as possible so
the readers can switch
poem from one website to
another. Each group will
present their outputs using
a laptop with a strong
stable internet connection.

GROUP 1 – LOVE.
Love is a prevalent
theme in poetry. You
can write about the
different aspects of
love such as falling in
love, unrequited love,
heartbreak, and
enduring love.

GROUP 2 –
NATURE. Nature and
environment are also
frequent themes in
poetry. You can write
about the beauty of
nature, the changing
seasons, or the
destruction of the
environment.

GROUP 3 – DEATH.
Death, grief, and loss
are common themes
in poetry. You can
write about the
struggle of coping with
the death of a loved
one, the fear of death,
or the acceptance of
mortality.

GROUP 4 –
IDENTITY. Your
identity can be a
powerful source of
inspiration in poetry.
You can write about
who you are, where
you come from, and
what makes you
unique.
GROUP 5 – SOCIAL
ISSUES. Many poets
use their writing to
raise awareness of
social issues such as
inequality,
discrimination,
violence, or poverty.
You can use your
voice to speak out
about the issues that
matter to you.
