    This not acceptable as quality of the surface finish of the concrete was not
    achieved hence the non-conformance.
    • Honeycomb and rock pockets appearing on several columns at
    level L5.
    • Poor fair-faced finish on columns.
    • Work finish was not built as indicated in the approved Issued for
    Construction
    • The quality of the surface finish of the concrete was not achieved
    due to Improper vibration during concrete placement.
    • formwork not watertight and rigid
    • Less cover than required for the concrete member.
    Note:
    Do not cast both vertical and horizontal elements together. This is the primary
    root cause of the honeycomb. It is impossible to get access to poker the vertical
    elements and also impossible inspect coverups of columns.
