About the owner:

Glenda Victorio is the CEO and Founder of Brilliant Skin Inc., a prominent beauty and cosmetic brand in
the Philippines. The company currently boasts more than 700 distributors and over 40 franchises.
Becoming a CEO at the age of 22, Glenda Dela Cruz Victorio is possibly one of the youngest leaders in
the Philippines. Despite her youth, she has demonstrated the vision and business acumen of someone
much more experienced. Through the success of her company, Brilliant Skin Essentials, Inc., Glenda
Victorio received the CEO of the Year award in the Health and Wellness category. At just 24 years old,
she is considered one of the most successful entrepreneurs in this field. Glenda was honored as the
Youngest CEO in the Field of Cosmetics and Skincare in 2018 and as the Most Outstanding and Influential
Online Entrepreneur in the Field of Cosmetics and Skincare in 2019.

Their Beginnings:

Glenda Victorio began by creating her own formulation of Charcoal Soap, which quickly gained
popularity due to its affordability and effectiveness. Following this success was her diamond product,
the BSE Rejuvenating Facial Set. The rest, as they say, is history. Glenda harnessed her marketing skills
and creative strategies in online selling, skills she had learned from suppliers, to promote her beauty
products. After thorough research and studies, she introduced Brilliant Skin Essentials in 2016, offering
facial and skin products for rejuvenation. Today, Brilliant Skin boasts more than 600 employees, 46
franchisees, and 705 distributors. Indeed, Glenda Victorio’s Brilliant Skin Essentials is an inspiring success
story—a testament to the potential of dreams fueled by great ideas and formidable passion.

Struggles:

In November 2015, a young mother, 19 year old Glenda Dela Cruz Victorio, suffered severe skin
eruptions on her face. This caused the bubbly Glenda to shy away from people. But together with her
husband Mart Crispher Victorio, she was struggling then to raise their first born by way of online
reselling whatever low priced products they can buy in a famous commercial center in Manila. She sold
candles, slippers, and all sorts of cheap goods. This simple livelihood provided her family’s needs but the
more work they do, the hours of travel, and stress- the more skin eruptions which affected Glenda’s
confidence. Until Glenda thought of a brilliant idea. A charcoal soap. With her husband, and their old
computer, they labelled the soap using stickers at home. Glenda’s positivity and her testimonial on her
charcoal soap, paved way for people to buy from her online store. And true enough, by word of mouth
and social media spread, the efficacy of the brilliant product flourished. Soon, the company Brialliant
skin essentials was legally established.

Their Motivation and Inspiration


IT was always been Glenda’s dream to be a successful entrepreneurs, but unfortunately because of her
hardwork she suffer from a severe skin eruptions that makes her confidence lessen. Through her
determination of making her skin health she researched active ingredients that may help heal her skin
problems, and the black Glamour soap was born. With savings from their online selling, the charcoal
soap were produced. She used it on herself religiously and eventually gave positive results on her skin.
She was living proof that black glamour soap works. Thus begins the beginning of the rise of Brilliant Skin
Essentials.
