III. Personal Learning Experience

I began my tutorial services with an orientation to orient my tutees about how, when, and
where we will do the tutorial sessions. We had an agreement on certain things, including the place,
time, and the subjects I’m going to help them with. These tutees I chose are from different Barangays so
we agreed to have our class conducted here in our house. The two of them are from a remote Sitio here
in our town, which I really wanted to help. They are all Grade 8 students, however, they greatly vary in
performance and IQ so I told them to help each other and never leave anyone behind. I let them get to
know each other by asking them to introduce themselves—tell their names, age, birthdays, likes and
dislikes, so they could treat each other better and maintain a harmonious relationship in the group. I
was really happy to see them get along with each other and it’s such a bliss to me that I have built a
strong foundation for their learning journey with me.
