b. Show the importance of separating mixtures through sifting or sieving in our daily living; and
c. Demonstrate how to separate mixtures through sieving through activity.

what are their observation about the video and Is there separating mixture happen in the video?

Problem: How do you separate the solid components of different sizes in a mixture?
What You need: Whole peppers, powdered pepper, bowl, Sieve or Sifter
What to do: 1. Place the mixed whole pepper and powdered pepper I an bowl.
2. Separate the ground pepper in a bowl from the bigger particles by using sieve or
sifter.
What have you found out?
Group 1-
1. How did you separate the smaller particles of pepper from the bigger ones?
2. What method did you use to separate the solid component of different sizes in a mixture.

1. What is the left on the sieve ?
