Envisioning 21st Century Education

Activity Guide

Task

Your task is to conceptualize and represent your vision of what is education (higher education
or vocational technology) in the 21st century.

Procedure

1. Imagine what 21st century education is like. What does education in today’s century aim
for? What are its features? How should it be delivered?
2. Illustrate your conceptualization by either:
a. Drawing it by hand on a piece of paper
b. Drawing it on computer
c. Sticking pictures or cutouts of pictures or images on a piece of paper
d. Or a combination of the above
3. If you did your illustration on paper, take a photo of it.
4. Go to the assigned discussion forum “Envisioning 21st Century Education.” Post your
brief description of your vision and your visual illustration of it by attaching the
electronic file of your illustration (i.e., photo file or computer file) as shown below:

5. React to each other’s postings.
